Abstract
Concern for the situation in the field of the higher electrotechnical education, in general, and in the field of power electronics, in particular, moves us to the necessity of changing the training paradigm for the transfer of a greater volume of information through the "lips" of the computer, instead of the mentor. Publications on the computerization of power electronics training are reviewed, describing the level of the problem in Russia. Our results consist in the development of a three-level electronic textbook (on the depth of the level of the representation of material), independent and Internet of versions of computerised testing, the full cycle of computer models of laboratory work, direct analytical/computer methods of the calculation of power electronic devices in practical use, and an electronic database for circuits of converters.
