Abstract
Technique for measuring the permittivity of polar liquid crystals (LC) in nuclepore membranes with low porosity (1.3 %) is described. The porous membranes were prepared by heavy ions bombardment. Parallel permittivity real part of 5CB in polietilenterfitalate pores (PET) having 1.5 micron diameter and porosity 1.3% was measured as a function of temperature with using specially designed, microstrip resonators working on frequency 350 MHz. It is shown the temperature dependence of 5CB permittivity in 1.5 micron pores practically coincides with that in bulk phase.
