Abstract
Weighting of interference for its effect on modern digital radiocommunication systems is vital for the future definition of emission limits. The effect on radiocommunication services depends on the type of interference (e.g. broadband or narrowband, pulse rate etc.). Starting with the classical concept of pulse weighting to analog radio systems defined in CISPR standards, the paper gives a concept for the definition of weighting of interference to digital radiocommunication systems and experimental results of weighting curves. The results are analysed with respect to their common response and shape. Finally, a detector is proposed for universal application
