  • Abstract
    This paper presents a formula to calculate the critical value of interphase reactor (IPR) in a six-phase rectifier with tap-changer. Simulation and experimental results verify the validity of the calculation approach. The calculated critical value is accurate enough to meet the engineering need. The parameter of the reactor must be larger than the critical value. On the basis of theoretical analysis, a simple and effective method is provided to design the interphase reactor. On balance, the above achievements play an important role in the design of the interphase reactor.
