  • Abstract
    In this paper, the possibility of applying entropy to power systems is firstly analyzed. Secondly, the entropy production of power systems is represented and simulated to determine power system stability under particular disturbance. Finally, based on the theory of minimum entropy production, the excitation control rule with the goal of entropy production is proposed coupled with fuzzy control theory. Computer test results show that the action of control, which let the entropy production to zero, is effective.
