Abstract
Fe-Ce-O films are synthesized by metal-oxide co-electrodeposition from an aqueous solution containing FeSO4, CeCl3, L-ascorbic acid, Na2SO4and (NH4)2SO4 maintained 333 K. The saturation magnetization of the films fabricated from the reaction solution with (NH4)2SO4 becomes larger than that of the films prepared from a non (NH4)2SO4 solution. It is found that the addition of (NH4)2SO4 is necessary for obtaining the Fe-Ce-O films with uniform surface and higher magnetization.
