Abstract
A screen printing process was used for the preparation of Nd-Fe-B thick films directly on a variety of suitable substrates: Si, glass, stainless steel, Al, Ta and Mo. Then, the samples were cured at approx. 130 °C, for 10 minutes in air. The magnetic properties of the films were measured at room temperature using a vibrating sample magnetometer and a superconducting quantum interference device magnetometer. All samples showed a typical ferromagnetic, single-phase hysteresis loops and an almost square loop with high coercive field and remanence. These properties are with technical interest and promising for MEMs applications.
