  • Abstract
    A non-ferromagnetic element was investigated in order to reduce the reacted layer thickness and the annealing temperature for CoCrPt post-annealed perpendicular media through the detailed analysis of diffusion phenomena in focus on coupling between Co and X as the cap layer (X = Hf, Zr, Ti, Al, Ta, and Nb). Magnetization curves were measured by vibrating sample magnetometer.
