Abstract
La(Fe0.86Si0.14)13, La(Fe0.88Si0.12)13 and La0.7Ce0.3(Fe0.86Si0.14)13 compounds were arc-melted and annealed for 10 days at 1323 K, 1323 K and 1423 K respectively. X-ray diffraction and magnetization measurements were performed. Isothermal magnetic entropy change and hysteresis due to the itinerant-electron metamagnetic transition were also obtained.
