  • Abstract
    The government information portal is a very important part of the e-government. With the development of the society and the e-government, modern governments put forward higher level requirements on the e-government. Grid technology provides strong technology support for it. Grid technology researching has great practical value in the government information portal application. This paper analyzed the deficiency in the existing government information portal and discussed the flows of information collecting, storing, processing and displaying in the information grid environment based on grid technology. Building an electronic government information portal framework using OGSA environment, we have implemented a prototype system, which is used for government information integration and information displaying. The system takes grid service as the basic unit and applies the function of grid environment to fulfill the systems integration and government information sharing.
