Abstract
This study was conducted to quantify the technical factors of Lu Yu Fu vault actually performed by three male gymnasts participated in artistic gymnastics competition of 2003 summer Universiade through the DLT method of three dimensional cinematography. To perform better Lu Yu Fu vault, a gymnast prefers early preparation for a pike position and to release a hand, and he prefers to have great horizontal and vertical displacements of CM in pre-flight and great horizontal and vertical speeds of CM and the speed changes in post-flight. And he should compromise good linear motion with poor angular motion or vice versa according to the physical fitness of himself.
