  • Abstract
    This paper addresses the problem of joint multiuser Tomlinson-Harashima Precoding (THP) for broadcast channels (BC), where the transmitter is equipped with multiple antennas and each receiver has also multiple antennas. In order to exploit the diversity from the multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems and to eliminate multiuser interference (MUI) among the users, we combine nonlinear THP with two diversity techniques (DT): dominant eigenmode transmission (DET) and orthogonal space-time block codes (OSTBC). The design target of the proposed strategy is to improve the multiuser MIMO broadcast in terms of BER performance.
