Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the downlink of single carrier MIMO-CDMA system over frequency selective channels. Our low complexity layered space frequency (LSF) scheme is to combine the frequency domain equalization with successive interference cancellation (SIC). In this scheme, the overlap-cut method, which can be applied to the existing single carrier air interfaces directly, takes the place of the well-known cyclic-prefix method. It is shown that our proposed scheme is superior to the conventional time domain ones.
