  • Abstract
We have seen that the approach to improving the amount of radiated power from an electrically short antenna can be implemented with a physically realizable antenna geometry, in this case a short monopole over an infinite groundplane. It has also been demonstrated by simulation that the increase in radiated power is not a narrowband phenomenon, though in practice it will likely end up being limited by an overall matching network.
