Abstract
A class of surface integral equations (SIE) for certain electromagnetic problems requires the numerical integration of singular kernels. Previously, the author showed how one type of singular, four-dimensional, double surface integral could be reduced to a non-singular one-dimensional numerical integration. A series expansion of the integrand and term-by-term integration was found to be superior to traditional Gauss-Legendre quadrature for this integral.
