Abstract
Feed horns are best suited for reflector feeds. They have extremely low side lobe levels and can be easily designed to sustain a certain field distribution over the aperture of these reflectors. At the same time, patch antennas can be easily printed and included as part of an integrated LNB feed for these reflectors. Issues related to the integrated feed and conditions for a patch array to replace the feed horn design are addressed.
