Abstract :
The available antenna literature contains a few proposed antenna solutions for laptop computers. Unfortunately these papers offer designs which are much larger than those desired by commercial laptop computer manufacturers. The customer requirements for antennas on a typical laptop computer platform have been presented. A design approach which fulfilled these aggressive requirements has been outlined as well as its successful implementation.
