Abstract
Simple grating of perforated strips is considered. Such a grating with one slot over the period, provides rejection frequency response. The grating with two different slots over the period provides frequency response with two rejection resonances. Simple and strict dependences of quality-factor and location of the resonance on the grating geometry are demonstrated. A numerical example for layered FSS forming quasi-elliptical frequency response is proposed as well.
