Abstract
In this paper we outline a numerical procedure to determine incident plane wave modes which excite surface current solutions on PEC targets that simultaneously satisfy both local and global boundary conditions. For a requested tolerance ε, the resulting local-global solution (LOGOS) modes are typically localized (to order-ε) within a small section of a large target. It is subsequently shown that this spatial localization facilitates the use of bandlimited functions to represent the spectral LOGOS excitations.
