Distributed measurement policy protocol for large-scale network

To make measurement platform adapt to the variety of user´s requirement and the changing of measurement tools, the entire measurement task are described by policy and loaded to probe by NMPP. As the distributed complicated and unpredictable environment which UNMP situated, the consistency of task state of UNMP must be carefully maintained. NMPP separates the control of measurement operation from the measurement operation itself. It essentially provides a scheduling and controlling mechanism independent of network measurement tools and applications, and improves the flexibility and extensibility.
