Abstract
Although a variety of techniques have been proposed in literature to deal with deadlocks in assembly processes, there is a lack of research on reconfigurability property for flexible assembly processes with alternative processes and unreliable resources. In this paper, we study the reconfigurability property for a class of flexible assembly processes based on the controlled assembly Petri net with alternative routes (CAPN-AR) we proposed previously. Based on this model, we proposed a reconfigurable control algorithm for CAPN-AR based on structural decomposition.
