Abstract
Upcoming period makes opportunities for electricity companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina for providing telecom services on liberalized telecom market. They investigate power line potential as communication access medium, for delivering broadband services to their customers. Power line characteristic, such as: frequency band, impedance mismatch, channel attenuation, noise and modulation techniques are discussed in this paper. The paper, also, presents the planned measurements that is used for defining conditions for PLC implementation project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
