Abstract :
The experimental demonstration of an adiabatic coupling technique between Silicon-on-insulator photonic crystal single-line defect waveguides and coupled-cavity waveguides is reported. Experimental results are compared with three dimensional finite-difference time-domain simulation results showing very good agreement.
