  • Abstract
Based on putting the conception of energy self-holding (ESH) forward, two kinds of energy self-holding model in fly back switching converters: alpha-model and beta-model are pointed out here. Then, the mechanism and mathematics model for each kind of energy self-holding are researched. During this process, two new conceptions of depth of energy self-holding and rating of energy-transfer are put forward. In the end, the proposed approach is verified by PSPICE simulation and experiments results and a new suitable method for the designing the converter is given here
