Abstract
We present a direct-modulated upstream signal transmission for low-cost WDM-PON implementation. Using self-injection locked F-P LD, direct-modulated widely tunable wavelength sources were achieved over 10 km at 1.25 Gbit/s line rates with code mark inversion interface.
