  • Abstract
    A novel integrated Mach-Zehnder interferometer, based on an ultra-compact crosspoint structure employing semiconductor optical amplifiers is proposed and its regenerative properties investigated. We demonstrate ER and OSNR improvements of 8.81 dB and 5.0 dB respectively at 10 GHz.
