Abstract
A novel "alternating data clock" (ADC-3R) all-optical 3R regenerator providing wavelength flexible output is presented. Compact semiconductor devices are applied and excellent re-timing and re-shaping of ADC-3R is demonstrated at 40 Gbit/s for the first time
