Abstract
We present a new method for the identification of bubble nucleation in superheated droplet detectors. This is accomplished through straightforward signal processing techniques applied to the acoustical recording of the nucleation events, which consists of pulse shape identification procedures. Experimental results are shown for a detector at different temperatures with suppressed pressure microleaks
