Abstract
This paper presents an approach to optimizing object relational rules constructed for sensor networks. An OR (object-relational) rule network is introduced to process large number of rules. Optimization of an OR rule network is based on the cost of condition matching. Given a set of OR rules, different access paths are generated, and the cost of these access paths are evaluated in order to determine an optimal configuration for the OR rule network
