Abstract
We suggest load sharing algorithm that can be applied between heterogeneous wireless systems. The basic idea of sharing load between different systems is to transfer users in a highly loaded system to a lowly loaded system. In this scenario, we need a common load measure that can be used in different systems. The degree of a load in cellular systems is affected by many factors such as the number of users, channel conditions and the required QoS(quality of service). To accommodate such factors in a load measure, we propose a new measure based on each user´s satisfaction level. The validity of the measure and the performance of the load sharing algorithm are tested by simulation
