Abstract
This paper describes the low cost platform minitruck designed in order to test localization algorithms. Minitruck is a generic electric vehicle equipped with an embedded electronic system, actuators and sensors. This multi-sensor platform has enough computing power to be autonomous. Nevertheless, a client/server architecture with a wireless communication enables to deport high computing power calculation to a distant computer. It allows the user to quickly add his own algorithms so as to test his theoretical works
