Abstract
Precoding is a transmission technique for efficient channel utilization with or without channel knowledge. There are various methods for precoding. Among them, linear precoding is generally investigated as it is easy to implement. In this paper, we consider linear precoding when an iterative receiver is used. Due to limited feedback rate, a codebook approach is employed. A criterion to choose a precoding matrix has been derived in conjunction with an iterative receiver
