Abstract
In this paper, we have developed hybrid-collaborative community architecture in bio-information intensive researches, and have also analyzed as the economic value chain model. Bio-informatics researches consist of small size-research unit and operated by apprentice system, so there are the absences of communication and information sharing. In proposed community model, to enhance information sharing in the community for all users, the new knowledge creating process should be rebuild with critical factors available to create more valuable information. This community model consists of a framework, method, and application. The framework among three types of core users such as individual researchers, research team, and research group, is influenced by SECI model. By enforcing the effective information sharing among all users, the new knowledge creating process can be articulated as an iterative collaboration process where the information is tried for new hypothesis for regenerating new valuable knowledge. Consequently, the hybrid-collaborative community model provides the effective and efficient information sharing environment. In addition, we have analyzed this model by using value chain and discussing limitation in two dimensions-non-technical limitation and technical limitation. We wish to strengthen the research capacity through the hybrid-collaborative community in bio-information intensive research
