  • Abstract
    This paper introduces the basic construction of pipeline leakage detection system, explains the system principle in brief, it gives presentations of wavelet transform and it´s characteristic of time-frequency, then presents the signal regularity analysis, wavelet transform modulus maxima, mainly the application of wavelet transform in analyzing the signals and eliminating noises. The paper presents two original signals which are representative of many times´ experiments, wavelet analysis and reconstruction are used to make the partial characteristics of the signals distinct, and generate the characteristic signal from the original one, finally, the paper puts forward a way of location
