  • Abstract
The hierarchical system has, as a main element, an assembly of 3 high performance programmable automatons which process data from existing facilities or from their local programmable automatons. This assembly achieves the following operations: it is of high capacity regarding the numeric, digital inputs and outputs on relays; communicates directly with the operator panel and with the group computer, which in turn can communicate through Ethernet network with the central station computer or directly with the zone dispatching; receives information on the operating of the facilities and equipment that serves the turbine and the hydrogenerator; processes these information ensuring the optimum operating of the hydro-energy group at starting, at system coupling, at charging/descharging of charge and at normal or failure stopping; allows a diagnosis of damages and defects emerged in operating; ensures local and remote command and supervision of the hydro-energy group provided with this automation hierarchical system. The automation facility has the following functions: a) upgrading the operator station pursuing: the way commands are carried in the group facilities the manoeuvres made in facilities the starting-stopping sequence the sequence of charging/descharging of active and reactive power; b) ensuring the operating regimes: no-load operating regime of the turbine no-load operating regime of the hydrogenerator charge operating regime of the hydrogenerator with initial incentive power charging by coupling to the energy system; c) ensuring of signals for initiating the stop of the group with charge descharge or charge throw; d) ensuring of optimum start and stop conditions with charge descharge; e) the tracking of the parameters of the hydrogenerator and turbine facilities in operating; f) and checking in operating the status of the turbine facilities and hydrogenerator before starting at zero revolution speed of the turbine as well as monitoring
