  • Abstract
    In this paper, a new method of channel state information (CSI) utilization for single carrier with frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) system is proposed. The adaptive method can eliminate the damage caused by frequency selectivity and time selectivity at the same time so it can be used in fast fading multipath channels. The adaptive method needs the support of backward channel but the overhead of feedback information is little because only one bit is needed for each subcarrier. The simulation result shows the adaptive method has good performance in fast fading multipath channels even if the Doppler frequency is 300 Hz
