Abstract :
Mobile location techniques in wireless communication networks have received significant attention in recent years. However, accurate location estimation using geolocation techniques is impeded by the non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation and hearability issues. In this paper, we propose a single station location technique based on the assumptions that the scatterers are single reflection and geometrically fixed during the measurement period. Two sets of measurements corresponding to two separate positions of the same mobile station are required. Since the scatterer scenario is considered, this method is less sensitive to NLOS effect and more accurate than the conventional methods
