Abstract
Reconstructions of time-resolved phantom measurements and simulations are presented and compared for different detector geometries. It is shown that longitudinal resolution for diffuse optical tomography can be improved by using remission measurements and additional measurements with offsets in a fan-beam geometry. Images of fluorescent dye concentrations and absorption coefficients reconstructed from simulated and measured phantom data are compared.
