Abstract
We propose routing and wavelength assignment (RWA) technique known as just enough RWA (JERWA), JERWA approach provides a RWA assignment scheme that maximize wavelength re-usage and maximize average link utilization as the size of the network grow. Different scenarios of a ring of 4, 6 and 8 nodes have been investigated. We have seen that JERWA has the best performance as the network size grow.
