Abstract :
The presentation outlines the trials that Transport for London are currently carrying out to determine the form of technology to which the Congestion Charging scheme may migrate. The technologies trialled include DSRC, satellite based systems and mobile phone technologies. In addition to technological analyses, the presentation focuses on the aesthetic issues arising during the trials, which is Transport for London is striving to address.
