Abstract
We present the CMOS circuit design of a new scheme to synchronize multiple oscillators to be used to drive an array of probes used in AFM imaging techniques. This circuit design synchronizes multiple Digitally-Controlled-Oscillators (DCOs) with the aid of vector implementation of CMOS Gilbert Multipliers. The overall circuit includes on chip inductors, and uses the 0.5¿m process.
