Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a new initial probability setting method for the multiuser detector using probabilistic data association (PDA). It is done by using the soft-decision of decorrelating multiuser detector´s output. Our results show that it can reduce the computational complexity of multiuser detector using probabilistic data association and maintain almost the same bit error rate in the CDMA systems.
