Abstract
Signature schemes with message recovery have been investigated a decade ago in the literature, but the first identity-based signature with message recovery was put forth until 2005. In this paper, we present a new identity- based signature scheme with message recovery (IBSMR) based on bilinear map, which is more efficient than the previous scheme. This new scheme shortens the total length of the original message and the appended signature. Furthermore, the IBSMR scheme can deal with any message with arbitrary length. Our scheme is proved secure against existential forgery on adaptive chosen message and ID attack in the random oracle model.
