Abstract

In this project the research of local area storage resource efficiency sharing and design of an applied local area storage grid system were presented. Its architecture, metadata management, storage resource allocation rule, file transfer service were discussed in detail. According to needs, basic functions of system are analyzed for the first step, and then realization of middleware of system structure is studied. This text deeply discusses main functions and realization of grid server, including management of metadata, distribution strategy of storage source, file transfer etc.
