Abstract
Most information in the world is created in digital form. Digital works are easily reproduced, manipulated and erased. Therefore, digital works are frequently infringed. To prevent such infringements by capturing legal evidence, we need special techniques. This paper developed an active forensic computing system capable of recognizing such infringements immediately using a digital right management technique. The system notifies the user of the contravention item if a digital work is illegally used in a client system. Furthermore, the system can record information on infringement users, infringement items, and laws related to intellectual property rights.
