Abstract :
In this paper the various analytic methods for magnetic field calculation of permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) are studied, briefly, and their results are used for assessing magnetic field. Some parameters such as radial and tangential components magnetic flux density and magnitude changes of them for determination of magnetic field behavior in various parts of machine. Also harmonics of magnetic field and total harmonic distortion in air gap length are analyzed. This study allows the determination of flux variations for more researches such as inductance calculation, iron losses and cogging torque evaluation.
