  • Abstract
    The motorized valve used as final control element in any control loop of a process plant may be required to be positioned according to the set point by using the analogue or digital control technique. In any motorized actuators, the position of the final control element may be required to be obtained according to one´s requirement. In the present paper, the design of a low cost analogue position control system of a motorized valve or actuator using integrated circuits has been described. The final calibration data for a motorized control valve are reported in the present paper, which reveal the linearity and reliability of the control system.
