Abstract :
This paper focuses on large torque pressure- equalizing ultrasonic motor with one-stator using traveling wave principle. The developed prototype´s diameter is 100 mm, and it´s braking torque reaches to 2.2 Nm. Using surface-contact model between stator and rotor, the pressure-equalizing operation is realized. On the base of analysis and calculation by using ANSYS, the pressure-equalizing traveling wave ring type ultrasonic motor using surface-contact model is designed and fabricated. The motor´s performance is also tested and analyzed. The results approved the correctness of the model and design.
