Abstract
The role of computing has changed: information and communication technologies have become the social infrastructure itself. And this is reflected to building design, as buildings create the habitual context of human beings. The advancements in technology offer advantages and opportunities, but they are not successfully integrated with physical space. Technology has to distinguish the life patterns in order to meet the design challenge of pervasive computing. For this, context becomes an important issue, in order to define the activity both for architectural use and computing use. This paper looks for spatial designs that make use of context aware technology, in order to bring out the key for the design of intelligent environments.
