Abstract
A purpose of this paper is to introduce the analytical basis for a metrology to enable high accuracy in quantitative analysis of signal beam field aberration by planar optical components comprising quasi optical feed systems initially in the range 60-350 GHz. Techniques for designing and studying beam aberration are outlined, and computational results are shown.
